Chase Sapphire Reserve Boosts DoorDash Perk to $15

150,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 in the first 3 months — the highest ever offered
From October 1, 2026, the Chase Sapphire Reserve’s monthly DoorDash credit goes from $5 to $15 — and stops being restaurant-only. The new credit works on any order type: restaurants, groceries, convenience, retail.
The change is automatic for existing cardholders. There is nothing to enroll in beyond the DashPass activation you likely already did.
Stacked, that is up to $35 a month, or roughly $420 a year.
"$420 a year" is the headline, and it is the number you should trust least.
Capturing all $35 requires three separate DoorDash orders in the same calendar month — one to use the $15, and two more non-restaurant orders to use the $10 promos. The promos have carried a $20 minimum, which means spending $40 to capture $20.
The credits are monthly and do not roll over. Miss October and October is simply gone.
So the honest framing is a range. If you already order DoorDash weekly, this is close to $420 of real value and a clear improvement. If you order occasionally, the realistic figure is the $15 a month you will actually remember to use — $180 a year, which is still triple the old credit for zero extra effort.
The Reserve leans heavily on credits that require you to behave a particular way. This one asks less than most: $15 on anything DoorDash sells is far easier to spend than $5 that had to be a restaurant order.
Groceries and convenience are the quiet unlock here. A $15 credit against a corner-store run is a credit you can use on a Tuesday without planning a meal around it.
Your Card Tracker on CreditMilesGuru already counts the DoorDash credit toward your monthly unclaimed total — the amount updates with the new $15 figure when the benefit switches over on October 1.
