“Pure secluded luxury from the moment you arrive. Alila Ventana Big Sur feels like a true escape, surrounded by nature and completely peaceful. One of my favorite parts was stepping out onto the balcony in the morning, taking in the fresh air and the sounds of the forest it’s such a calming way to start the day. “Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Alila Ventana Big Sur—the setting is undeniably beautiful, and there are aspects of the experience that really stand out. That said, given the price point, I do think there is meaningful room for improvement. The biggest issue was inconsistency, starting with check-in. The process felt somewhat disorganized, and the experience varied noticeably between guests. We were offered lunch on arrival, while others checking in around the same time were denied by a different receptionist.
