The staff were incredibly attentive and caring. Unlike other hotels where every meal involves signing a transaction, Aman operates on trust between the hotel and its guests. “I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I came for breakfast at the restaurant. Since I wanted to visit Aman Taka that morning, I called the hotel in advance to confirm if outside guests were welcome for breakfast. They said yes, though they mentioned the balcony might be full. The menu offers both Western and Lao-style dishes. I ordered the congee—it was really good, with a rich and flavorful broth (probably pork stock). I also ordered the fruit platter.
