“Overall a positive and great experience! We were warmly greeted by the lovely Ina who walked us through from check in, serving us welcome drinks and local kueh. She is extremely enthusiastic and warm, sharing the activities that we can do here. She also handled our check out and left a great impression! The place is about 1.5h drive from Singapore and is a great escape from the hustle. Good way to recharge oneself. Rooms are spacious, you can see the sunrise. “Rooms were spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Resort was almost at full capacity when we stayed. Room rates were very pricey. Service was Ok at best. Senior staff were attentive but the younger ones appeared overwhelmed and at times ignored guests, especially at the restaurant. Food at the resort's two main restaurants was average to above average. However, again, it is pricey for the quality. Variety at breakfast is impressive but a tad more local cuisine could be added. A crowded resort = long waits for breakfast + wrong orders. The Spa is very expensive and does not deliver value ” — Vivek Nair

“Had a wonderful relaxing stay in Anantara with my girlfriend. The service and staff are exceptional and the villa and beach are beautiful. We stayed in the lagoon pool villa 54, which IMO has one of the best location right next to the key areas - restaurant / main lobby and pools / games recreation area / beach. The service and staff were amazing. Special callout to the housekeeping staff - Hassan, Shofiqul, and Mahbob - for going above and beyond, they did amazing romantic setups in our room and left heartwarming written notes on multiple days of our stay.
