Though I arrived about an hour before official check in and my Andaz Suite wasn’t ready, I was unexpectedly upgraded to a Garden Pool Villa. As it was my birthday, the team surprised me with a welcome beer bucket, delicious treats, and the cutest pandan birthday cake. The villa itself was stunning, spacious and luxurious. The private pool was divine, the indoor and outdoor lounge areas perfect for chilling and devouring the sweet treat, and the bed one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. “The best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful, they go out of the way to ensure you have everything you need. Everyone stops to say hi when you walk past. The food is a very high standard at all the restaurants and the service was usually very quick. Breakfast is served on their tranquil courtyard and it’s made to order (no buffet). The drinks in the room (Except alcohol) are free and there is a complimentary cafe open serving coffee and snacks all day until 10pm.
