“Banyan Tree Mayakoba is a special place with some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced. The rooms are updated and clean, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure you’re enjoying your stay, and the many dining options were fantastic. There’s so much to explore - would recommend atleast 3 nights. The beach club is great and very peaceful. Highly recommend having dinner at Saffron. While everyone was very accommodating, hopefully you come across Jazmin during your stay - she’s is so friendly and truly wants to help you have a great stay. Highly recommend!” — Ryan Lounsbery

“We had a great stay at Mayakoba! The villas are wonderful, we loved having bikes to get around, and having access to excursions was fun too - we did tennis lessons and kayaking. Service varied from okay to great. I only gave 4 stars due to: - The breakfast buffet was great, we also really enjoyed our meal at the steakhouse but we thought saffron and the Italian restaurant were just okay.. borderline not good considering the price - I enjoyed my massage but the facial was just okay.. at this price point that’s no bueno - someone stole my bike after the kayak and the concierge was not clear on h” — M P

“I recently stayed five nights at Banyan Tree Mayakoba with my two daughters in a three-bedroom villa overlooking the golf course. While there were positives, several issues significantly impacted our experience. The most concerning incident occurred on our second day around 4:15 p.m. My daughter and I were leaving our villa on resort bikes along a small walking and bike path when a truck spraying a large cloud of pesticide came directly toward us.
