“We chose Black Rock Mountain Resort for a special anniversary stay and had high expectations, especially after recently staying at Waldorf Astoria Park City, where the service was absolutely top-notch. Unfortunately, our experience here has been disappointing from the moment we checked in. Customer satisfaction does not seem to be a priority. Despite informing beforehand that we were celebrating our anniversary and requesting an open view from our room within our booked room category, there was little to no effort made to accommodate us. “We have enjoyed coming back to this resort every year for the last 4 years right after President’s Day weekend. It is comfortable, clean, well decorated and furnished. The front staff has been super responsive and the amenities - gym, game room, sauna, steam room, pool and hot tub - are all top notch. “This was one of the least restful stays I've ever experienced. The upstairs neighbors (or maybe construction) were incredibly loud, and I couldn't sleep at all. You hear everything because of the poor construction of the hotel itself. They also don't provide daily housekeeping service.
