Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton

“We loved our stay at this hotel and spent three nights. The pool, sauna, and steam room were highlights and made each evening feel extra special. The walk down to the riverwalk area is very manageable, though the walk back up is a bit more challenging. Food at the bar and restaurant were great, loved the pizzas and starters. “I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with our stay, as it didn’t quite meet the standards I would expect from a Curio property. Arrival: The arrival experience was excellent — the staff were welcoming, polite, and kind. We also received some gifts due to my Hilton Honors status, which I truly appreciated. Room: We booked a standard room, which was nice and spacious. While there were some amenities provided, a few basics were missing (such as a razor). The water pressure was quite poor in both the shower and the sink, and there was no power outlet at the desk, which made working a bit inconv” — Benedek Makrai

“We loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed 3 nights and are sad to be leaving! At check in, it was fast and efficient, and they kindly offered us a taste of their Port wine, which is bottled at the on-site Quinta da Boeira. Due to having the Amex Hotel Collection benefits, we received an upgrade immediately to a garden/pool-facing King deluxe room, which was a beautiful room. The room was well designed with a very comfy, large bed. The bathroom was incredibly spacious with two sinks in addition to a rainfall shower, which was one of the best hotel showers we have ever experienced. Due to Hilto” — Allen Zhou
