“Borgo dei Conti is a beautiful borgo exquisitely refurbished in the best taste! We visited in April 2026. One can enjoy details of beautiful locally artisanal textiles , lovely colorful slippers in the bedroom, well tended gardens with blooming wisteria. The staff is eager to please and knowledgeable. The food is not to standard though. Breakfast is à la carte only , and what is on the table is not inviting. They offer cakes but they are not there for you to see. Plain yogurt was not available. Only sheep yogurt. Disappointing. We had dinner in the restaurant and got disappointed again. Super ” — Mica Jones

“Stunning grounds but a little isolated. The spa and garden suite room were beautiful. Definitely room for improvement in regards to the service and restaurants. Emailed the team 3 weeks in advance about wanting to do a wine tasting, but they only booked everything the night before we planned to go. Had a tasting at 12 and one at 4pm, but had to pay for the car service for the entire day ($600). Asked if there was another vineyard to see and were told it wasn’t possible, so we just sat at the first winery for 3 hours paying for a driver.
