“From the moment we arrived, this hotel made us feel very welcome. There is no traditional front desk, but instead a receptionist waiting in the lobby with a warm smile, greeting guests in a very personal and thoughtful way. It immediately feels more like arriving at a home than a hotel. The design is beautiful and well balanced, modern yet full of character. The photos of Italian artisans on the walls add an authentic local touch and give the space a lovely sense of history and culture. Breakfast was excellent. “This was our first stay at Casa Baglioni. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very well located. Unfortunately, our arrival experience did not meet the standard we were expecting, largely due to our interaction with the staff member who checked us in. We were not greeted upon arrival, and the check-in felt rather cold. We were barely asked whether we needed assistance with restaurant reservations or any guidance regarding the hotel. “We stay in a lot of high end (read: expensive) boutique hotels. I have to say this one was superb from the moment of arrival til leaving. It’s down to the people and attention to detail. Our check in was with Federica. She was engaging, welcoming and professional. One of the best arrivals ever. Felt like old friends! We were given an upgrade to a suite which was a beautifully appointed room. During our stay we engaged with porters, concierge.
