“This is one of the most tasteful, gorgeous, and simply elegant hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were clean, ceilings high, and extraordinarily comfortable. They kept the integrity of the interior from back when the building was the Detroit firehouse headquarters which I absolutely adored. The staff and service was wonderful. Everyone from the valet attendants, to the front desk associates, to room service was such a delight. “The pictures of the king rooms do not do this place justice, the rooms are much bigger and nicer in real life in this beautiful renovation of an old firehouse. It's pricey but my booking came with $30 credit toward food and their hotel restaurant is nicer than a normal hotel restaurant - the Apparatus Room was lovely on a Friday night, especially the pork belly appetizer and homemade sourdough bread. Fresh free coffee in the lobby early in the AM. I look forward to returning.” — Lillian Daniel
