“We stayed for five nights in a 2-bedroom villa. The villa was spacious, with 2 great bathrooms. It is very modern, with a large terrace and a small pool. The room was clean. The hotel is built on/in a hill; you can use a buggy to drive you around or can walk using stairs. Our room was very high up, and we walked up and down every day, very doable if no mobility issues. The main pool is very long and great for swimming; there are plenty of chairs available. The beach has fewer sun loungers, and it can get full but doesn't feel crowded. “When we were booking Domes Zeen Chania, my wife and I couldn't find much about the walk into Chania Old Town, so after staying there I wanted to share our experience for anyone in the same position. The resort is built on a steep hill, with reception and car park at the top, the pool and main facilities down at the bottom. We were happy enough climbing the steps between levels, but most other guests seemed to prefer waiting for the golf buggies! The walk to Chania harbour took us about 35 minutes each way. The resort has a great human scale — intimate and cosy, yet with everything you need to feel truly comfortable. The staff are the real highlight. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring — especially with our baby. They noticed every little detail and were always one step ahead. You feel truly looked after, not just checked in.
