“My first room was noisy as it was on a high floor and the fans were extremely loud on the roof . Without hesitation was moved to a room on a lower floor which was perfect. The real highlight here are the staff - every single person I dealt with was friendly and resolved any issues. Only disappointment is there is nowhere in the hotel for proper food for breakfast. The food in the evening however is excellent in the Italian. All in all- a very friendly hotel and slept so well” — Gavin Kingsley

“Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Walking into the hotel lobby, is a feast for the eyes of white marble. We found out this hotel used to be a bank. Rooms are well appointed, the onsite restaurant and coffee shop are very good! Staff was helpful, friendly & accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!” — Teresa

“Come here for one reason: the coffee. It's easily the best in the area. I've been coming here regularly for almost nine months since moving to the city, and the coffee has never disappointed. Today's entertainment, however, wasn't the espresso—it was watching the public-space cleaner mop the floor, then use that same mop to wipe down the tables where people eat and drink. Nothing says "house blend" quite like a hint of yesterday's footprints. Needless to say, I was completely grossed out. If you're stopping by, I'd recommend taking your coffee to go or skipping the tables altogether. Who knows” — John S
