“Exceptional location in the Meatpacking District — steps from shops, cafés, the water, and some truly breathtaking views. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe of the hotel is modern and energetic. A couple of things could be improved. Check‑in required filling out a form even though they still checked my ID, which made the process feel unnecessarily long. My room had two double‑twin beds that weren’t connecting, and I honestly don’t understand why this bedding setup exists — it’s neither ideal for families nor for couples. But - the service was consistently terrible - it started when I arrived and I was given a key to a room that was already occupied (!!), luckily she/he were not in the room when I entered it. The upgrades and remodel have made a huge difference — the hotel feels fresh, modern, and even more elevated while still keeping the energy that has always made it such a great place to stay. The restaurant options have gotten much better over the years, and the rooftop bar is absolutely one of the best parts of the experience — especially in the summer.
