“This restaurant is a once in a lifetime experience. If you are in Nevis, you absolutely have to come here. The ambiance and scenery is incredibly gorgeous and romantic. To make a great experience better, the food was absolutely amazing. You have to try the caprese salad, you’ll never have a better one in your life. The pasta was delicious as well. “We've come to Nevis for 30 years, and owned a house at Cliffdwellers for 15 of it, our favorite place on island. Our regular ritual the whole time was to come have a lobster salad sandwich for lunch the day after arrival at our second favorite place on island, Golden Rock. We had to sell our house, so for this visit to island, we decided to stay at the Sugar Mill here. OMG. Exceeded our expectations all around. When Brice and Helen bought it about 20 years ago, they turned the volume up to 11. The mill appears to be recently renovated, but it's just been repainted. “Great environment, very beautiful establishment with a great setting for lunch. Unfortunately they do not put the same effort into their food. Of our 3 dishes the food was very mediocre and bland. Breaded Chicken was very tough and cooked poorly, breading immediately fell off what looked like a previously frozen chicken breast.
