“I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at the Grand Hyatt Tampa was beyond unacceptable. We were part of a wedding party and had reserved our room well in advance, yet when we arrived, we were told our room had been given away. Instead of trying to immediately fix the situation, the staff was dismissive and unaccommodating. It wasn’t until I became visibly upset and insisted on speaking with management that anyone made an effort to help. What should have been a joyful, stress-free wedding weekend turned into a nightmare. The constant issues and lack of urgency created unnecessary ” — Brittany Garris

“The hotel has a beautiful lobby, a very good restaurant, and an excellent breakfast that was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The staff in the restaurant area were attentive and the atmosphere there was pleasant. However, the hotel itself feels outdated. The rooms look old and could really use renovation and modernization. The pools are quite small, and there are almost no outdoor amenities or relaxing areas for guests to enjoy. Parking is also somewhat inconvenient. “We haven't been so excited for a hotel room for such a long time. Grand Hyatt Tampa checked all the boxes we wanted for this getaway. Their casitas are villa-style private bungalows and located in a lush, mangrove-filled area. Upon check in Charles was being very helpful and all request are granted!
