“A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We had a warm greeting, our car parked for us and we were shown to a lovely room. Although it was a cheaper room, it was very quiet and comfortable with a great view overlooking the convent with storks nesting in the towers. It was a shame that the swimming pool wasn't open, but that wouldn't have stopped us from staying.” — Mark Pettitt

“Two stars is being generous! I am genuinely shocked that this hotel is rated 5 stars. The service was appalling from start to finish, and I’m honestly convinced many of the positive reviews are not genuine. At check-in, we weren’t even greeted. The receptionist showed zero interest in welcoming us and was far more focused on trying to sell us breakfast than providing basic hospitality. Throughout our stay, every time we walked into the hotel, not a single staff member acknowledged us no greeting, no smile, nothing.
