“I got worried when I saw some of the recent reviews but OMG this was my favorite travel experience. The property is exquisite and one of a kind. I stayed in one of the treehouse for four nights and this is the most relaxed I’ve felt in a long time. Food is so fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and go above and beyond! I couldn’t recommend staying here more. Yes there are bugs but you’re in the jungle. The jacuzzi on the balcony of the treehouse is so special. “Gorgeous venue and location but appalling service, cleanliness and overall condition of the rooms. When we checked in our room wasn’t ready until 6pm (we did check in late to be fair but two hours later we still had to call and ask if the room was ready). When we enter the room it is covered in spiderwebs and several hundred insects on the bed and in the room. We also found some dust and dirt on the floor. The water pressure was awful and we had no hot water. Also our jacuzzi wasn’t working and no lights outside were working either. For the amount of money you pay here you get a fraction back ” — Jonatan Andersson

“This was such a great experience. If you want to get away from the rat race and, as cheesy as it sounds, “become one with nature,” this is the perfect spot. It’s really tranquil—you wake up to the sounds of the ocean, birds chirping, and a beautiful view. I checked in late at night and had to order room service. It arrived pretty quickly. The burger patty itself could have used a bit more seasoning, but the fries were salty and crisp, just how I like them. Let’s talk about the customer service. I’m an English speaker, and most of the staff were Spanish-speaking, but they were still helpful and” — Renee
