Hotel Maria Cristina, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Sebastian

“Oh my! One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. A phenomenal location for San Sebastián. It’s simultaneously 2 minutes from Old Town and 2 minutes from Basqueland brewing across the bridge. The rooms were huge and the bathrooms had a great layout. The breakfast was A++ with an awesome buffet and a really tasty (and included) à la carte menu. If you are looking to treat yourself while on holiday in San Sebastián, this is the spot.” — Euan Leith

“The most arrogant and condescending hotel manager I have ever spoken to - after several mistakes from the hotel (lost reservation/couldn't find our booking, despite us having a confirmation email directly from the hotel, wrong information on where to park our car, amongst others), we requested to speak with the hotel manager. He proceded to speak over me, tell me that he had left a very important lunch meeting to attend my call, and that he had said sorry, what else did I want. “If you are staying in San Sebastian, it's hard to believe there is a better place to stay than the Hotel Maria Cristina. Everything was impeccable during our whole stay. The location is great with easy access (walking) to the popular spots in San Sebastian. The staff was courteous, polite, and really helpful during our entire stay.
