The bedroom was not updated yet, I heard some of the rooms are getting updated but even though it was quite charming the old school style. “We came here at the height of travel season (August 1) and were not able to receive the Amex upgrade. We were placed near the beach/restaurant area and by the pool. The room was very small. It had a tiny television which hung with all of its wires dangling like it was the back of some Verizon store. Surprising considering how they price these rooms. One night is about 1 month's rent for a lower end 1BR in NYC. You'd think a working television would be the basic if not the most irrelevant item of furnishing.
