I was thrilled to be upgraded to a Junior Suite, which came with a lovely welcome amenity of a bottle of red wine and cookies—a wonderful touch that made me feel truly welcome. While the suite wasn't massive, the layout was smartly designed, and the high-tech features made the space highly comfortable. The standout feature was the beautiful, spacious hotel room. The bathroom was a particular delight, featuring a bathtub placed next to a big window. Waking up to a lovely view through the motorized curtain while in the hot tub was a truly memorable experience. “This was my first stay at an Intercontinental hotel and it was fabulous. The service was outstanding, and there were so many fine details in the room like a SMEG kettle, Nespresso machine and automated everything, even the blackout curtains!
