“Excellent hotel and location. Right by everything. Staff was wonderful, bell boys were great- they called us cabs daily. Food was wonderful (the buffet was actually a great perk each morning), and they had tons of spaces to do work. I even did a livestream downstairs. And the room had a fantastic view. “I stayed here last week and, unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hotel's 5-star reputation. My entire floor constantly smelled of cigarette smoke due to other guests smoking in their rooms, which made for an unpleasant stay. Additionally, my experience at the in-house Chinese restaurant was poor. Despite being the second person seated right at opening, I was completely ignored while later arrivals received their food. I eventually had to flag someone down just to place an order. For a luxury hotel, I expected much better attention to detail and policy enforcement.” — Tracii A R Cherry
