Given the hotel’s five-star rating and the amenities advertised, our stay was extremely disappointing and not worth the premium price tag. We specifically chose the Madeline Hotel for the experiences it promotes, including the morning movement classes. However, despite being advertised on the website, no movement classes were offered during our five-night stay. “We just left the Madeline after a 4 night stay and we left a bit disappointed. The hotel seems to be under new management and it shows. The communication between us and the front desk was lacking. My husband called down asking for 4 decaf coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. A carafe of coffee was delivered and we refused it. My husband then called the front desk again and this time 4 cups of espresso were delivered, he again refused it. No effort was made to make it right.
