“My wife and I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Lago di Como for a birthday getaway, and it was a truly special experience from beginning to end. We originally reserved a Premiere Suite with Partial Lake View and were generously upgraded to a Lake View Suite. Waking up each morning to those incredible views of Lake Como was unforgettable. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and feels tucked away from the crowds while still being close enough to enjoy the lake. While the property itself is stunning, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. We were informed that photography around certain areas of the property was not permitted and, more surprisingly, our guests were asked to sign a document written entirely in Italian stating that photos could not be taken.
