“We were treated to a weekend in San Sebastián by our children for my wife’s 60th birthday. When we first arrived at the hotel, I must admit we were a little underwhelmed by the look and feel of it. However, we were greeted by a very friendly reception team. When shown to our room, my wife was quite surprised and taken aback, as it was not what we would have expected from a luxury hotel such as Nobu. She felt strongly enough to speak with reception and share her thoughts. She did not do this in the hope of being moved, but simply because she felt it needed to be said. “A great boutique hotel with fabulous views over beach & bay. Staff & Concierge are very attentive / helpful pre and during visit. Lovely outdoor large balcony for cocktails with a view over bay. Breakfast and other restaurants are top quality. Car park needs booked and hotel offer local courtesy car lifts. Would definitely return 👌” — Jude Lagan
