“We had a room on a corner in front - 2nd floor, I think. The view of the park and beyond to the castle was beautiful and despite being on a busy street, we heard no street noise due to the special precautions they take with the windows. The room was absolutely stunning, clean and very comfortable. Could've used a larger wardrobe but probably an impossible addition due to the huge windows and historic features. Service was great. Pillow menu was one of the best ever. Breakfast was superior. No complaints.” — Doug

“Really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely. It had windows looking into enclosed courtyard with restaurant, but soundproofing was excellent. It was actually pleasant to open the windows to hear Fado performance while relaxing in room one evening. Breakfast was wonderful - buffet plus egg dishes. We also had dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was very good. You can sign up for a complementary wine tasting. Location is great near large terrace looking out over the city. Small but well-equipped gym. Very attractive building. Friendly staff accompanied us to parking garage.” — Val M
