“I was initially skeptical about booking this hotel, as the price is relatively high compared to properties in Asia and it is not part of a major international chain I typically stay with However, I can confidently say it exceeded expectations and is absolutely worth it! The room was excellent - with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The shower had strong water pressure, the hairdryer was high quality, and the turndown service was a nice touch. Concierge service was outstanding (the concierge actually walked with us out of the hotel to make sure that we were heading in the correct direction). Everything on the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. It set the standard too high for other hotels on our tour through Italy. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. It is a bit of a journey to the touristy destinations (Collesium, Spanish Steps, Vatican etc . . .) so use your favorite app for taxis or public transportation. “This 5 star hotel is in a good location off the Piazza Popolo. It is clean and comfortable. We were very disappointed in our stay, however. Our room overlooked the courtyard where a band played loud music well into the night. We couldn’t sleep. Although acknowledging that there had been multiple complaints, the manager couldn’t/wouldn’t help. Be very careful with your room location if you choose this hotel.
