“We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. The rooms were amazing with lots of extra touches (some I’ve never seen in other hotels/resorts). The food was delicious. The location is ideal if you want to be close to the Ft. Lauderdale airport or cruise port or just have a nice ocean or intercoastal/marina view. Not on the beach, which is probably why it is not as expensive as some of the 5star beach front resorts. “My overall experience at Pier 66 Hotel was a 7 out of 10. I booked a room for Valentine’s Day and paid $1,000 for one night, so I definitely had high expectations. The highlight of our stay was the front desk gentleman who checked us in — Michael Potter. He was absolutely amazing. Even though our room was switched due to a mistake on the hotel’s end, he handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, and made the situation much easier for us.
