Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Algarve

“We stayed at the Pine Cliff Ocean Suites in a two bedroom suite in mid September – specifically, Room OS206 A and B. The suite was on the second floor – it was a “resort view” but being on the second floor meant our view was basically of the middle/tops of some trees and bushes –which was actually fine because otherwise it wouldn’t have provided much privacy from the pools. If you want more of a resort view, a higher floor would be better – but none of the rooms offer an ocean view – too far set back. “The first night we had individuals next to our room that were very loud. I went down to the reception and they supported called once but dis nothing. Overall, the stay was not what i expected when we were there 20 years ago when it was Sheraton hotel. The Marriot pine cliffs i must say is attracting mass tourism and also the hotel staff are friendly but are not properly educated by the hotel management to do all the Services. When we were in the garden we had to wait 2 hours for food or when you make a reservation for the pescador 7:30 for 7 people they made it for 5 people. Also the beach is ” — Gelindo Treve

“TLDR: It's really better to stay home than to come here, every aspect of this resort was really bad. This is the worst resort I've ever stayed in my entire life. Our goal was to find a place where we check-in upon arrival, and check-out before the flight, meaning we don't have to leave the resort for anything. (food, activites, beach etc). While the resort does have (in theory) the amenities and activities you would expect from it, they are all unbelievably bad.
