“Raya Heritage was really something special. The whole property feels like a beautiful, peaceful retreat next to the Ping River, with exquisite attention to detail throughout. Our Rin Terrace Suite was incredibly comfortable, to the point where we often just wanted to stay in and relax. The room, the design, the quiet atmosphere and the setting all worked beautifully together. The pool was also a welcome daily dip to cool off after being out in the Chiang Mai heat. We really enjoyed the food and drinks at the hotel. Breakfast at Khu Khao was excellent, and dinner there was a lovely, relaxed exp” — Mark Oosthuizen

“We had an amazing few days at the Raya Heritage. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably clean! Rooms are very very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A small complaint was that the AC was a bit nosey. The mini bar/ snacks were also outside/ on the balcony which was a bit strange but again not a big issue. We got a top floor room but the view of the river was somewhat obstructed by the trees and roof but that didn’t bother us. We were given the pool option but we were unlikely to use it so opted for the top floor. The hotel is 20-25 mins cab ride out of old town but never had an” — Jay

“Raya Heritage is a lovely, small boutique hotel that offers a calm and comfortable stay. The rooms are very clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. What truly stands out is the staff — they are amazing, extremely helpful, and always warm and welcoming, which really enhances the overall experience. The only small downside was on Christmas Eve, when room service was closed. It would have been helpful to be informed of this in advance, as it meant we had to go out to get lunch unexpectedly.
