“I was told that Kauri Cliffs was the most beautiful golf course in the world . . . after seeing it I think even that is an understatement. The course is beautifully integrated into a stunning landscape, instead of the other way around, which you so often find. Every hole offered an unforgettable view (and a lot of the greens offered an unforgettable challenge!) Our caddy, James, had been with the lodge for years and he really made our experience special. “Beautiful scenery. But I would advice to hire some proper staff. For some people, rude staff really ruin the experience. I’m talking about a specific guy named “John”. Perhaps he is not fit for this type of job. Dude, this is a job, not your house party, come on!!! However, restaurant waiters are fine; course-carers are fine. They are quite friendly and proper.
