“Excellent restaurants in the resort, and more within a mile with a shuttle service. The facilities and service are absolutely first rate. The only draw back is deep pillow top beds - great for some people but not for me. As for trail rides, I had a 22 year old retired Amish plow horse which was ideal for a relaxing ride - just don’t expect more than walking speed. “My friend arranged an overnight for us to visit wineries, have a tasty dinner in town and enjoy the hotel spa.. for my bday! We stayed here. Just WOW. The building in itself is just beautiful. The high ceilings and architecture is lovely. I think one of my favorite areas was the dining area for breakfast. There are other gorgeous rooms to lounge in as well. The library is so rich with the dark wood. I loved that you can borrow/leave books! Our room had classic elegance. We had two queen beds and a balcony.
