Sanctuary Camelback Mountain

“Great location in Scottsdale and close to PHX. We spent. several days in AZ, specifically coming into PHX for a comedy show. We chose the Sanctuary Camelback because it was supposed to be a luxury hotel with luxury amenities and spa. However our experience with the hotel was no where near luxury. First off the hotel restaurant, Elements has been rated as a 4-5 star experience and our personal dining was far from luxury. The dinner was meh at best, the specials were overcooked and flavorless. “This is an excellent resort at the base of Camelback. The rooms are modern, spacious and well appointed. The grounds are beautiful but it is very hilly. The bell staff will drive you around the property in a golf cart if you're not up for walking. The spa is very nice but unlike many spas that have some co-ed waiting areas. Here they separate couples until the treatments are done. Not a big deal but good to be aware of if you like hanging out with your spouse before or after treatments. “Staff were polite and professional, service was above and beyond my expectations. The Jade and Elements restaurant was a culinary dream. I had the halibut and it is a seasonal item, off the charts delicious. The chocolate cheesecake was an experience like no other, smooth chocolate and not overly sweet. The spa was relaxing, Sonia was amazing!!!!! Thank you for making my 30 anniversary a weekend to remember.
