“Lovely hotel with great ambiance in the bars and public areas. Staff very professional and friendly. Room spacious and beds comfy (estate room). Knocked one star off as the food was fine (Charlies) but not exceptional (for the price). The spa area is lovely but just teas and water to drink. It would be nice to get a glass of fizz when in the spa area. Heated outdoor pool is lovely (it is not huge and there is no indoor pool). There is a small outdoor hot tub too plus sauna and plunge pool. Great breakfast menu” — Sharp Pam

“Recently stayed for one night as a couples getaway. I ended up booking a room in the main hotel but had to reschedule and only cottage rooms were left. I think the biggest bit of feedback I have is that the cottage rooms are just presented online as another room type but it's technically a different experience and this is where it becomes a little dis-jointed. When I booked this hotel, I did it off the back of the instagram videos I'd seen which heavily feature the spa. It turns out that the cottages do not have spa access included, in fact you can't even book it. We were told that hotel guest” — Robin Knox

“Went for a wedding. It's a five star hotel so was expecting five star rating. Rooms were ok but not lush. You get as good in a three or four star. Breakfast was plentiful but cooked food buffet style was cold. Not impressed. Coffee had to be ordered, was cold when it arrived. On the plus side the care taken for the wedding was very good, the food was excellent and the venue for the wedding inside the hotel was just right.
