“The Shinola hotel is a prime example of a "hotel catfish" as the pictures online displayed a beautiful establishment and stay; yet I was met with a experience that would not be a good deal for $150 a night. The staff was kind and got me checked in with ease, asking if I needed anything to drink while they checked on my room and with housekeeping. As they checked on my room, I realized how small the lobby was (granted we are in the city, so I should have expected a cramped experience I suppose). The room will be better, I hoped.
