“The stay overall was amazing. The staff was very attentive and kind. The moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Everyone from valet to the turn down service team was incredible. We enjoyed every single meal on property as well. Pico bar was the perfect spot for lunch after traveling all day and Solbar was amazing for dinner and breakfast. Every detail was paid attention to and we were wished a congratulations by every team member we encountered for being on our honeymoon. The spa was the only lacking experience. “I tried to keep an open mind even after seeing reviews that Solage has gone down hill in recent years. Unfortunately, this was our experience as well. Solage is not worth the money for what you get. We expected way more from this 5-star property. The room was fine but didn’t feel pristine (blinds ajar, dirty spoon, milk for coffee leaking, stained bath). Room service was mediocre — wet food trays, tortillas forgotten then delivered cold in a napkin, food itself from Picobar just ok. Service overall was fine but not great or exceptional.
