“We had an awesome experience at Solaz today thanks to Santiago! He was incredibly attentive the entire time, always checking and making sure we had everything we needed I want to learn Spanish, so he was super encouraging when we tried practicing our Spanish-he was patient, friendly, and helped us learn a few things along the way instead of immediately switching to English. He made us feel welcome and comfortable, and his great attitude made our day by the pool perfect. “This hotel was amazing!! From the staff to the beautiful pools and views, just an amazing trip there! The room was very clean, the housekeepers so sweet, as they put my special needs daughters stuffed whales in different places on her bed each day! The hotel left a very nice framed message in our room with a hand crochet whale for her!! AMAZING!! As we left they gave her a beautiful braclet in a wood box as well, unreal!! Ramon, Carlos, and Alejandro were absoultely fantastic as well. Taking care of us for whatever we needed. They handled the whale watching tours, transportation and pool arran” — jeff

“As a Titanium Elite member who spends a ridiculous amount of time in Marriott hotels, this was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve had. My issue is not that I didn’t get the room I wanted. I understand that upgrades are ultimately up to management. My issue is how I was treated by the manager, Julio. Unfortunately, I had a negative interaction with him before I even arrived at the hotel, and that same attitude continued once I got here.
