“The experience was mixed. There were some highlights but also several disappointments that are hard to overlook. Room allocation was initially frustrating. Despite a documented request as part of our group booking, there was confusion around room categories and limited flexibility to change rooms until a cancellation within our group allowed a move. While the issue was ultimately resolved, the process felt rigid and unnecessarily difficult. “American Club: Phenomenal service; best I've had anywhere. Room was beautiful; jacuzzi tub filled quickly! Food & service in the Wisconsin Room was unsurpassed at both breakfast & dinner. “My husband and I are a sucker for a historic hotel and when thinking of a place to celebrate my birthday, I suggested The American Club! We have been to the hotel before to eat at some of the restaurants, but staying was a whole different experience, truly 5 stars. This is a great place to celebrate any special occasion, they make you feel so special from the moment you walk in. The front desk went over all the amazing amenities the hotel has to offer, and we were even able to check in early, which was so nice. It gave us time to get refreshed before heading out to explore.
