“I recently stayed at the Langham Hotel in Shanghai, and it was easily my favorite hotel of the trip. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived, and the fresh fruit and treats waiting in our suite were a lovely touch. The suite itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The spa and wellness facilities were fantastic, especially the indoor heated pool with its underwater sound system—a unique experience I absolutely loved. “We had an excellent stay at the Langham. The bed, room, and especially the rain shower were wonderful. The room was spotless and very well appointed, and both room service and housekeeping were consistently excellent. One aspect we did not enjoy was the live music in the lobby, which gave the space more of a club atmosphere. This felt at odds with the Langham’s normally elegant and refined character. We would have preferred something quieter, such as piano music, and as a result we chose not to spend time in the lobby, despite its beautiful lighting and views.
