“Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The restaurant is lovely too. We have stayed here on numerous occasions. But what led to our disappointment recently was we specifically went there to celebrate my birthday- the hotel contacted us in advance and asked if we were celebrating anything and we said it was a birthday celebration. When we arrived my husband mentioned it upon checking in. But it was never acknowledged at all during our stay. Not even a card or note from management. A hotel of this caliber could do better. I don’t recommend staying here if you are celebrating anything. :(” — M Jacobs

“Honest review...Rooms were very nice -- concierge was great and arranged flowers in the room, bed was wonderful, bath products top notch (don't know why there wasn’t an box of tissues though?) However, the reason for choosing this hotel was for the supposedly wonderful in-room dining. That is -- in my opinion -- no longer true. All the "gourmet" offering on the posted in room menu were no longer served/available, and dinner consisted of chicken fingers (without any sauces available) and a turkey club. “Great one night weekend escape. Filled to the brim with luxury. Facial at spa. Sauna and steam room after gym workout and semi private exercise session with trainer (due to no one else joining). Great room with wonderful view over the park. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfast at LaCroix.” — Susan Moreno
