“Myself, my sister, mother and daughter stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta on 6/5–6/6 and I was left wondering what exactly the $420 room rate was paying for. The room was extremely basic, lacked a refrigerator, and offered little that felt worthy of a luxury hotel designation. The most frustrating part was that a member of our party had medication that needed to be refrigerated. When we raised the issue, the response from housekeeping was essentially that it was our problem, not theirs. “My fiancé and I stayed here on Saturday night to celebrate our engagement. Unfortunately, our experience was not up to standard for a 5 star hotel. When we arrived, the valet was not tentative at approaching my vehicle to help my 5 month pregnant fiancé out of my vehicle (there were no other guests or vehicles present). After we got checked into our room, we decided to go down to the lobby to enjoy a dessert and I had a cocktail. The sorbet ice cream had blackberries and raspberries in it.
