“I had an excellent deep muscle massage at the spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte. I was really sore from a hike the day before, and the massage was exactly what my body needed. Ren took the time to ask where I was holding the most tension and focused on those areas throughout the session. The experience was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep — which I never normally do during massages. The spa itself was exquisite. “The original entrance to the hotel is undergoing renovation. The hotel entrance is now on the other side of the building. You have to go down several stairs to get to the elevator and if you have luggage, good luck. There were several valet gentlemen out front but, none seemed interested in helping me. The front desk staff was not as welcoming as with other hotels under the Marriott brand. The room was beautiful and spotless. Turn down service and chocolates was a nice touch. 24 hour room service is a hit! And it was pretty good food. I was not disappointed in my spa experience at all. All sta” — Tarsha Fields

We got a really nice room upgrade, complimentary wine and charcuterie in room. Hotel renovations -everything looked great and new.
