“This was our 3rd annual stay at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami. I’m a Lifetime Titanium Bonvoy member and we paid around $800/night (before taxes/fees), so expectations were high. We reserved a City View Executive Suite (1 Bedroom, King, Sofa bed, Balcony) about 2 months in advance and emailed requesting a quiet, high-floor, non-connecting room away from elevators. “Extremely disappointing experience at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove tonight. I arrived around 11pm after booking a room, but because I didn’t have a physical copy of my card, the situation immediately turned hostile. I completely understand hotels have policies, that was never the issue. The issue was the way I was treated. The man working the front desk was incredibly rude, dismissive, and condescending to the point that I was brought to tears standing in the lobby.
