“Stayed for 9 days at the Villa. The villa itself was fantastic. Great rooms with a private pool and jacuzzi. The butlers were very friendly and helpful. However, the food in the hotel was horrible - very expensive and not tasty. The breakfast for villa guests were supposedly to be better than the breakfast for other guests, but it had very limited selections, and the breads were stale… For a 5-star resort with a premium price tag, my husband and I had expected more. We ended up ordering in from local places, which were not great, and had to leave the premises to eat at another hotel’s restaura” — Ching-Wen Hsiao

“If you are thinking to make a reservation at this hotel, my advice would be not to use Expedia. Expedia's descriptions of the ammenities are not right: they may say you are booking an ocean (sea) view but the hotel staff will place you in a pool or garden view room. Expedia has no control there as majoirty of guests book via local travel sites. The hotel staff was not helpfull at all when it came to a wrong reservation, especially one particular manager, a woman who called herself "Chris": somewhat sly and deceiptful, she did her best to check us into a room that we did not book.
