Staying at the The West Hollywood EDITION felt less like a premium hotel experience and more like booking a front-row seat to a nightclub I didn’t ask to attend. The noise is absolutely outrageous. Between the thumping bass from the hotel’s own nightclub and the nonstop chaos from Sunset Strip, I’m not sure how anyone is supposed to sleep. The walls and windows seem to have the sound insulation quality of a tent. For a property charging luxury-level rates, you would expect at least basic soundproofing.
