“I am undoubtedly giving 2 stars because of the service at the front desk (specifically the young man) and the food at "Little Daisy." As for the rest—paying a premium for a corner room in a luxury hotel—the room should have been impeccable, yet it was dusty. I also expected much more from the room itself, but I was left disappointed. First, there was noise coming from the adjacent room caused by children. Second, there was dust in the room. “I recently stayed at the Thompson Hotel and attended the Catbird NYE event, and I'm writing to express my significant disappointment with several aspects of my experience. Check-in and Valet Issues: Check-in was extremely slow, which set a poor tone for the stay. Additionally, we were required to use valet parking due to the NYE event, with no alternative parking options provided. A manager from the hotel did reach out to me after my reponse to the hotel stay survey and refunded me the valet charges. I am very appreciative of that gesture.
