“My stay at the Thompson Hotel on the San Antonio River Walk was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elevated, warm, and welcoming. The property is right across some construction so take note,but what truly made this experience unforgettable was the service. “At a high level, this property is certainly not worth the money. We only stayed here because that's where the wedding room block was provided. The hotel tries to position itself as the one of luxury, but all things considered, it's not that nice. Rooms are small, beds are not that comfortable, service is hardly friendly, food is terrible. Valet took 20 minutes to get the car, and that's for $60/night. Room keys deactivated 10 minutes before check-out, and we had to run back and forth to be able to get into the room to get our stuff.
