Viceroy at Ombria Algarve

“Great experience. Staff were mostly outstanding. Some were just great. Rooms were large and very nicely appointed. Beds were comfortable. Spend the extra for a room with a view of the valley. Food was fresh and very tasty. There was a nice variety during breakfast. The golf course was very challenging even if it hasn't fully recovered from all the rain this past winter. The location is a little isolated meaning you should have your own car to really get around -theres nothing walking distance to this resort. “We had a wonderful stay at the Viceroy Ombria Algarve overall and would happily rate it 5/5. The hotel is set in beautiful Algarvian countryside in a hilltop location with stunning views throughout. We opted for a valley view room and were very pleased: it was spacious, beautifully designed, and very well appointed, as was the bathroom. The interiors throughout the hotel and complex are tasteful and elegant. There were a couple of niggling issues around the half board offering. “Viceroy Ombria Algarve is an absolutely beautiful resort. The grounds are incredible, the rooms are spacious and stunning, and the views from the rooms are truly breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a one-bedroom residence, which made the stay even more special. I really wanted to love this resort because the property itself is exceptional. Unfortunately, there are several areas where the experience falls short — mainly with the service.
