“The W Aspen hotel staff were incredible! Every single employee made us feel welcomed and valued, with proactive anticipation of things we may enjoy. The entire experience felt custom and personalized. From our very first impressions with the bellmen taking our bags, to the gentleman who checked us in, we were treated with extremely high levels of care and always a smile. The front desk manager who assisted in our check-in was above and beyond friendly, nice, and personable. Every time we saw him, he said hello and greeted us by name. “When you pay this type of rate you expect service and a hotel to match it. But sadly this is just an upgraded courtyard Marriott with a restaurant. Daily we had to call them to ask them to please service our room because by the end of the day it hadn’t been touched. At breakfast you had to search for help to find things that were missing and also to pay the bill. Our sink kept getting backed up and then finally smelled the room up like sewage. These hotels advertises ski in/out but it’s more of a ski in. Which is fine, I can walk but don’t advertise it’s a ski out. The workers are friendly but” — Mary Beth

“I’ve stayed here three times and really enjoy the hotel. Very clean and fresh looking. A swanky vibe like this brand always has, but noticeably aware of the Aspen mountain look. Excellent location for walking around town and the service is helpful. Not a great variety of dining on site but given how close everything in town is, that’s not an issue.
