Wharekauhau Country Estate

“Our experience at Wharekauhau was ‘next level’ exceptional! We were treated like the most important guests from the moment we arrived, greeted with warm smiles and a glass of bubbles. We were shown around the lodge before being seated in a private room for a lunch that was some of the best we have ever had the pleasure of dining on. Nicolas created us perfect cocktails on a whim with only a few hints from us of what we liked - he nailed it. He is so passionate about what he does and has an infectious, uplifting energy. Don’t hesitate in visiting here, it is a magical experience that we will re” — Karissa Young

“This place is incredible. Richard, Nicholas, and the staff all know your name, what you drink and immediately bring what you need to make your stay enjoyable. The food was the most incredible I've ever had anywhere on this planet. The ATV's were my favorite part of this trip, but we also have enjoyed fishing, sheep shearing, the wineries, the spa, the hot tub, croquet, and just so much. The beach lookout on property is amazing. This place is forever in my memories as the best place we've ever stayed.” — Heather Richardson

“Fabulous setting. Charming staff who made us feel welcome and special. World class food. Memorable experience. Went there for Mother's day lunch. Would definitely recommend for any special occasion.” — S Adams
